Dr Geoff Jones is a 1996 graduate of the University of Washington School of Medicine and completed his Family Medicine residency training in Spokane in 1999. He then worked in Bethel, AK for almost 3 years before relocating to Newport, WA. He has lived and worked in Newport for over 15 years, practicing full scope family medicine including operative obstetrics and endoscopy. He was named the Washington State Family Physician of the Year in 2016 by the Washington Academy of Family Physicians.
He has been involved in medical education throughout his career. He frequently taught students in Bethel and Newport, and taught clinical skills to 2nd year students at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Spokane. In 2017 he assumed the role of Assistant Clinical Dean for Eastern and Central WA for the UWSOM and has been enjoying working with communities to develop and support medical education in the region.
His wife, Shannon Radke, is also a family physician in Newport, and they have 2 children.
