David Angelson is an epidemiologist and health systems specialist. He holds a MMedSci in Global Health Delivery from Harvard Medical School and a PhD in Public Health from the University of Auckland. He has served three branches of the United Nations (UNPFII, UNDP, and WHO), most recently as the Project Development Specialist for a joint UNDP-WHO USD $76m health system strengthening project in four Pacific Island countries, supported by the Global Environment Facility. His specialties include predictive risk modeling for health system planning and priority-setting, environmental health, and the public health consequences of climate change.
